Privacy Policy

Effective September 14, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Knightsbridge Strategies, Ltd., doing business as Knightsbridge Park (“Knightsbridge Park,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, and protects information in connection with KB Portal, the web application available at kbportal.io(the “Service”).

KB Portal is an internal business application used by Knightsbridge Park employees, contractors, and authorized client representatives to manage budgets, invoicing, and related client-account workflows. It is used solely for Knightsbridge Park’s own internal operations. It is not a commercial product, is not offered for sale or subscription, and is not available to the general public. Access is by invitation only.

1. Information We Collect

Account information

When an account is created for you, we collect your name, work email address, and role. Authentication is handled through our identity provider, which stores your credentials in encrypted form.

Business and financial data

The Service processes business records entered by users or synchronized from connected systems, including client names, budgets, invoice details, billing contacts, and payment status. This data belongs to Knightsbridge Park and its clients and is handled as confidential business information.

QuickBooks Online data

When an administrator connects the Service to Intuit’s QuickBooks Online, the Service accesses accounting data through Intuit’s authorized APIs, such as customers, invoices, items, and related transaction details. This connection uses OAuth authorization issued by Intuit; the Service never sees or stores QuickBooks account passwords.

Usage and log data

Like most web applications, the Service and its hosting providers automatically record technical information such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and timestamps, used for security monitoring and troubleshooting.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information described above only to:

  • Provide, operate, and secure the Service;
  • Synchronize budgets, invoices, and related records between the Service and QuickBooks Online at the direction of authorized users;
  • Authenticate users and enforce role-based access;
  • Diagnose problems, prevent abuse, and improve the reliability of the Service;
  • Comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

3. QuickBooks Online Data Handling

Data retrieved from QuickBooks Online is used solely to provide the Service’s budgeting and invoicing features to the connected Knightsbridge Park account. It is never sold, rented, or used for any unrelated purpose.

Access tokens issued by Intuit are stored securely and used only to make authorized API calls on the connected company’s behalf.

The QuickBooks connection can be revoked at any time by a company administrator, either within the Service or from Intuit’s connected-apps settings. Upon revocation, the Service stops accessing QuickBooks data.

Use of QuickBooks Online itself is governed by Intuit’s own terms and privacy policy. Intuit and QuickBooks are trademarks of Intuit Inc.

4. How We Share Information

We share information only with:

  • Service providers that host and operate our infrastructure (such as our cloud hosting, database, and workflow-automation providers), bound to use it only to provide services to us;
  • Intuit, to the extent required to synchronize data with QuickBooks Online at the direction of authorized users;
  • Legal authorities, if required by law, subpoena, or to protect our rights, users, or the public;
  • A successor entity, in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

We do not share personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

5. Security

We take reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect information, including:

  • Encryption of data in transit using TLS/HTTPS;
  • Encryption of data at rest by our hosting and database providers;
  • Role-based access controls and invitation-only accounts;
  • OAuth-based authorization for the QuickBooks Online connection, with no storage of QuickBooks passwords.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect information consistent with industry practice and will respond promptly to any suspected incident.

6. Data Retention

We retain account information for as long as an account remains active and business records for as long as needed for legitimate business, accounting, and legal purposes. When data is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it. Users may request deletion of their account information as described in Section 8.

7. Cookies

The Service uses only the cookies and similar technologies necessary to keep you signed in and to secure your session. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

8. Your Choices and Rights

  • You may review and update your account information by contacting us.
  • You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing accounting@kbpark.com. We will respond consistent with applicable law.
  • A company administrator may disconnect the QuickBooks Online integration at any time.

9. Children

The Service is a business tool intended for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version will always be posted on this page with its effective date, and material changes will be communicated to active users.
